I co-founded
System Strats Group, a business systems and automation consultancy based in the Miami–Fort Lauderdale metro. We work with
companies across South Florida and remotely nationwide.
Day to day that means NetSuite customization, Celigo and custom API integrations, Shopify and
multi-channel order operations, and the automation work that removes manual steps from a process
everyone knows is broken but nobody has had a free week to fix.
The pattern I run into most: a company doesn't have a software problem, it has a
seams problem. The ERP is fine. The storefront is fine. What isn't
fine is the person copying orders between them every morning, or the report that pulls from a spreadsheet
somebody stopped updating in March.
Often the better answer isn't connecting two expensive platforms, it's replacing them. Plenty of
business software charges enterprise prices for the handful of features a company actually uses, and
forces its own workflow on them along the way. When that's the situation I build the system instead:
one that covers everything the business actually needs, fits how it already works, and costs less than
the licenses it retires.
I care about systems that stay simple as they grow, which means a fair amount of my job is talking
clients out of buying more software. I also write about
this at System Strats, mostly on strategy, ecommerce operations, and knowing when automation is worth it.
